The old station building is a fine example of traditional Navarrese railway architecture a first-class station, approximately 20 x 7 metres, two storeys with a gabled roof. Built of grey stone with red-brick detailing on corners and frames, characteristic of many Navarrese stations. The ground floor housed the passenger office, waiting room, toilets and a luggage store later converted to a canteen; the upper floor was the stationmaster's residence, with a platform canopy for passengers. The adjacent goods warehouse a single-storey gabled building on the loading bay and the technical facilities on the other side of the track (locomotive depot, carriage shed, turntable and water tanks) complete the complex. Together they allow visitors to understand the workings of a historic station and its key role in passenger and freight transport.
