A document from 1797 refers to the chapel as a single-nave building with a straight gable. The entrance on the south wall features a semicircular arch dated 1792. It has a wooden gabled roof, rough-cut stone walls and a wooden lean-to on the Epistle side. Inside, the 17th-century Baroque altarpiece and the statue of Saint John are particularly noteworthy.
