A scenic route with mountain views, a historic chapel, beech woodland and rock formations used for climbing ideal for hikers and nature lovers.
The route begins at the Irurtzun motorhome park and climbs steadily up the slopes of Mount Erga to the Trinidad de Erga chapel.
From the chapel, a long, pleasant descent through beech woodland heads north-west to the village of Latasa.
The route then follows part of the Plazaola Greenway and connects with the SL®-NA 140 'Senda de los Pescadores' and the SL®-NA 131 Aixita. The latter leads to the foot of the Dos Hermanas, an impressive rock formation popular with climbers.
From there, an easy return path leads back to Irurtzun.
