A challenging route with stunning views, passing through oak and beech forests and ending at a summit chapel. Suitable for experienced hikers only.
The circular trail known as the 'Ascent to San Donato' climbs to the Hermitage of San Donato, near the summit of Mount Beriain. The path runs through oak woodland in the lower sections and beech woodland and grassland higher up. It is a short but demanding trail, not suitable for all abilities, and not recommended in snow, heavy rain or strong winds due to the risk of accidents.
