CHAPEL OF ST PETER

A rectangular chapel with a gabled roof, it is notable for its traditional pilgrimage on 29 June and the folklore that characterises its natural surroundings.

Situated between Alsasua and Urdiain, this rectangular chapel with a gabled roof houses an image of Saint Peter on its altar. The lintel of the south door marks the boundary between the two villages. Every year on 29 June and the following Sunday the villages of Altsasu and Urdiain respectively hold the pilgrimage of Saint Peter, filling the surrounding fields with tradition and folklore.
