Ulizar rises to 868 metres and offers magnificent views over the valleys and mountains of Navarre and Gipuzkoa, steeped in history. Sweeping panoramas take in the Aralar, Aizkorri, Ipuliño, Urdelar, Uzturre and Hernio ranges, among many others. This circular route follows paths and trails through the Leitzaran Valley to one of its many summits, partly coinciding with the old Cañada Real de las Provincias.
