The Azkarate washhouse, next to a village fountain, is a fine example of Navarre's traditional public wash houses. Built of stone, this space once allowed people to wash clothes by hand with running water, and served as a social meeting point for the local community. Today it forms part of the town's ethnographic heritage, a reminder of past ways of life and the customs that revolved around communal washing.
